Degree Overview
The Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Policy and Management is intended for senior professionals holding master’s or terminal professional degrees to obtain advanced skills in healthcare policy and management. With a focus on theory and its use in implementation and evaluation, students completing this will be able to demonstrate knowledge of and ability to apply theory to policies and practices likely to impact the healthcare delivery system. The advanced certificate doctoral-level coursework examines critical areas in healthcare delivery, including healthcare quality, organizational management, strategy, governance, and policy development. (Available beginning Fall 2025 for current SPH students, Fall 2026 for external applicants.)

Degree Requirements
Master's degree in Public Health or an earned master’s degree in another field and at least 12 hours of upper division undergraduate or graduate coursework in healthcare administration/health policy, or a terminal degree in the Health Sciences required.
